For the last two year I have working on a project on the small Taiwanese islands of Kinmen and Matsu. These tiny islands in between the island of Taiwan and mainland China tell the complex story on how both nations with a common past, still have a tense relationship. Since all the attention nowadays goes to mainland China, this project focus on the underdog of history, the Republic of China, better know as Taiwan.
A part of the project has been published on Scopio Network and was part of Encontros Da Imagem 2017 in Braga.
